Joe Randel has over 5 years of experience on various projects involving civil, structural and geotechnical engineering. He is currently Employed at McMahon & Mann Consulting Engineering and Geology, P.C. in Buffalo, New York where he provides engineering services for geotechnical and solid waste projects throughout New York and Pennsylvania.

His professional experience has focused primarily on permitting, design, and construction of solid waste disposal facilities. Areas of emphasis include environmental permitting, geotechnical engineering issues (slope stability, settlement, etc.), leachate and landfill gas collection and removal systems, baseliner and final cover design, hydrogeology and hydraulics of surface and groundwater control, environmental monitoring, and construction quality assurance.
