Event
The New York Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will release the 2015 Report Card for New York’s Infrastructure, the inaugural report of its kind for the state. The report includes evaluation of New York’s aviation, bridges, dams, drinking water, parks, roads, solid waste, transit, and wastewater. As much of New York’s infrastructure reaches the end of its useful life, civil engineers are offering solutions to keep the state moving forward and a way to strengthen the local economy.
Infrastructure has a direct impact on our lives every day—from the water we drink to the roads and rails we travel. Infrastructure is vital to our economy, security, recreation, and safety. Will New York’s infrastructure systems make the grade?
