ASCE Buffalo Section is again hosting a number of sessions at an educational outreach event for students at Holland Middle School as part of their “Innovation Day”. Help promote and expose STEM in our community!

We are looking for volunteers to help session leaders with 5 hands-on sessions to expose the kids to different aspects of what we do each day as civil engineers:

• Transportation Engineering: Designing Highway Interchanges
• Structural Engineering: Windy City Tower
• Hydraulic Structures: Dam Types and Water Pressure
• Geotechnical Engineering: Foundation Types and Liquefaction
• Bridge Design: Newspaper Bridge

Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
